Inconel Series: The Ultimate Heat Shield

When your project demands structural integrity at temperatures exceeding 1800°F (982°C), Inconel 625 and 718 are the definitive choices. These nickel-chromium superalloys maintain high yield strength where standard steel would melt or fail.

Why Choose Our Inconel Strip? We provide annealed or precipitation-hardened tempers suitable for stamping gaskets, bellows, and heat exchanger components.

  • Inconel 625: Best for high corrosion fatigue strength and weldability.
  • Inconel 718: Age-hardenable for maximum tensile strength in jet engine parts.
  • Stock Status: Thicknesses from 0.1mm ready for slit-to-width.

Nickel 200/201: Powering the Future

Commercially pure wrought nickel (99.6%) is renowned for its low electrical resistivity and high thermal conductivity. It is the raw material of choice for battery tabs, cathode links, and electronic lead wires.

Soft Magnetic Property: Beyond conductivity, Nickel 200 provides excellent magnetostrictive properties for sensor applications.

  • Low Resistivity: Essential for high-current battery connections (EV/HEV).
  • Deep Drawing: Excellent ductility for stamping complex electronic casings.
  • Cleanliness: Produced with low gas content for vacuum applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Expert answers regarding nickel alloy procurement, certification, and logistics.

What certifications do you provide with the nickel alloy coils?
Quality is non-negotiable for high-performance alloys. We provide a full Mill Test Certificate (MTC) according to EN 10204 3.1 with every shipment. This document details the chemical composition, mechanical properties, and heat number traceability. Third-party inspection (TPI) services like SGS or Lloyd's are also available upon request.
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
We understand that high-value alloys often require smaller quantities for prototyping. For grades in stock (e.g., Inconel 625, Monel 400), our MOQ is as low as 10 kg for strip/coil. For custom sizes or non-stock grades, the MOQ typically starts from 100 kg depending on raw material availability.
How do you package thin nickel alloy strips to prevent damage?
To prevent edge damage or oxidation during transit, all precision strips are wrapped in waterproof paper, traverse wound (or pancake style) on cores, and packed in reinforced fumigation-free wooden boxes. We ensure the coils are securely fixed to prevent movement inside the box.
What is the main difference between Inconel 718 and Inconel 625?
While both are heat-resistant superalloys, Inconel 718 is precipitation-hardenable (age-hardened), offering superior tensile strength ideal for high-stress parts like turbine discs. Inconel 625 relies on solid-solution strengthening and offers better general corrosion resistance and fabricability (welding).
